Sweet Spring Afternoon with Handmade Chocolate and local Strawberry
Take a day off your urban life to meet some Taiwan chocolate-holic and meet some new Taiwanese/Foreign friends while enjoy DIY handmade chocolate.
On March 9, we are going to visit a manor in Dahu Township, Miaoli County, where strawberry prosper every spring and gain lovely fame. In company by strawberry, the hosts of the manor established a house full of obsession of chocolate. The house uses their worldwide traces after authentic chocolate making method as bricks and the stories of chocolate as concrete, and has a name combined with ‘Shokolade’ and ‘lake’ to link the seed of the obsession and where it rooted to thrive.
Along its romantic spirit, the manor is also an industrious workshop insisted in quality control. All the chocolate beans they adopt are from a deemed chocolate farm in Ecuador, which would become the DIY…
